Physical Properties |

Reactor Powders (as precipitated). These properties can be varied within a wide range to suit different applications. The following SEM photographs and table illustrates some aspects of this variation with two samples of HA produced by the Reactor. In addition a wide variation in Particle size distributions can be engineered to give Mono-modal, or Bi-Modal distributions. Some distributions are better suited for extrusion of composites, whilst others are better suited for sintering in order to manufacture fully dense or partially densified ceramics.
