Plasma Biotal offers a bioactive coating service and a variety of medical grade, high quality, synthetic calcium phosphate powders – our CAPTAL ® product range. These materials are optimised to stimulate connective tissue growth in a variety of different applications, such as bone mineral substitution, tissue engineering, research and cosmetics.
We specialise in producing hydroxyapatite and beta-tricalcium phosphate powders with markedly high phase purity and crystallinity. This results in improved stability in vivo and superior long-term clinical outcomes.

Quality and Testing
Plasma Biotal conducts characterisation and testing services to ensure our material is certified for medical use. Through a combination of in-house and external testing we can evidence that our calcium phosphates and coatings meet or exceed requirements for use in medical devices (ISO 13779-6 or ASTM F1088).
